Charlotte Webby One Step Closer to Open Water Olympic Selection
Congratulations to Charlotte who was second NZ women home after swimming the hardest race of her life in Taupo last weekend in the 10km swim. She then added to her silver medal with another silver in the 5km swim the following day.

Congratulations to Joshua Gilbert of Stratford Swimming club who was the top XLR8 Points scorer for the Boys 10/U for the months of Sept/Oct.
Grand Prix and Aquaknights camp
Rotorua is hosting the Central Swimming Grand Prix this weekend The fastest 16 swimmers in each event will be competing for prize money. Following on from this is the Aquaknights camp.

Congratulations to the following Taranaki Officials who gained qualifications from SNZ Techncial advisors Ross Bragg and Dave Beattie at our Taranaki Winter Championships.

2011 Youth Squad Camps are confirmed at the Millennium Institute of Sport with the female camp scheduled for 8-11 October and the male camp 11-14 October.

A small team this year leave for Rotorua on Tuesday to compete in the SNZ Division II competition from 20-23 July.
Swimming Taranaki AGM Awards
There were four extremely happy ladies after the AGM on Wednesday evening.
Six Way Meet Success
Congratulations to the Taranaki Six Way Meet team for bringing home two trophies. Two Taranaki records fell - Ruby Scott (10-11yrs) for her 100m backstroke in a time of 1:14.43 previously Kaitlin Haami's 2007 record and Claudia Taylor's (9/Under) 100mIM in a time of 1:27.91, previously Ashley Rupapera's 2002 record.
Six Way Meet Team Selected
Congratulations to the swimmers selected to represent Taranaki at the 2011 Six Way Meet in Palmerston North on Sunday 26 June. The team will be racing against Manawatu, Wairarapa and Wellington. Hawkes Bay/Poverty Bay and Wanganui are unable to attend this year.
