Results from the final day of the NZ SC champs.
On the final day of the NZ Short Course Champs Julian Weir 15 (Aquabladz Taranaki) won Gold in the 200m Backstroke 2:05.36, smashing the Taranaki record of 2:08.81 previously held by Weir. Weir again broke the 50m Freestyle record 24.08 (previously raced on day 2 in the relay 24.15) placing 4th in the final. Dylan Arlidge 15 (Opunake) broke the Taranaki record in the 50m Breaststroke final 32.80 previously held by Brady Corkill coming in 8th. The Taranaki relay team of 15 & under men’s team of Weir, Arlidge, Cooper and Talor Owen finished 4th in the 4 x 50 medley with a Taranaki record breaking time of 1:52.00 (previously 1:57.68 set in 2006)

Ryan Cooper 15 (Stratford) 6th in 15yrs 200m Backstroke 2:10.60
Bianca Bradley 17 (Aquabladz Taranaki) 6th in 17 & Over 200m Individual Medley 2:20.22
Eliot Lundon-Moore 13 (NPA) 8th in 13 yrs 50m Breaststroke 37.06
The 16 & over women’s team of Brooke Wells, Bianca Bradley, D’Ani Allen and Nam Northcott finished 8th in the 4 x 50 medley relay in 2:08.78.
