Records fall at Taranaki Winter Champs

The first night of the Taranaki Winter champs saw the girls 9/U rule!

Claudia Taylor (Stratford) broke her own 50m backstroke in a time of 38.89 and 100m IM (1:23.08) records once in the heats and again in the finals and Sasha Reid (Aquabladz Taranaki) broke the 9/U 200m breaststroke record in a time of 3:43.92.

Heats and finals continue until tomorrow afternoon.
