2010 Swimming Taranaki Senior Camp
41 Taranaki swimmers had successful camp under Donna Bouzaid's guidance.
Senior Camp
Another very successful senior camp was held at the TSB pool in Stratford under head coach Donna Bouzaid and assistant coaches Sue Southgate and Clive Wheeler. The swimmers covered many kilometers in the water, ran to dry land at the Stratford High School gym most days and performed skits in their groups on the last night of camp which was fantastic and alot of fun to watch.
Camp Manager Cath Tippett and Carol Powell who was in charge of the kitchen were extremely thrilled with the way everyone got on and handled the week.
The key now is for all that hard work to continue within each of their squads as the swimmers fitness base has moved up several notches which has put them in a great position for this season.
Our sincere thanks must go to Taranaki Electricity Trust for their financial support in providing an opportunity for our Taranaki swimmers to attend the camp.
