And the Records keep falling

Day two of the Taranaki Winter Champs saw several new Taranaki Records set.

Claudia Taylor (Stratford) continued her breaking streak with a new record in the 9/U girls 200IM in a time of 3:05.42 after breaking the previous record of  3:07.13 in the heats.  She also set a new time in the 200m freestyle of 2:35.93, previously 2:36.80.

Charlotte Webby (Aquabladz Taranaki) broke her own girls 16/O 1500m freestyle record in a time of 17:17.17, previously 17:23.27 and Julian Weir (Aquabladz Taranaki) broke the boys 14-15 yr 50m breaststroke record in a time of 32.33, previously set by Dylan Arlidge (Opunake) in a time of 32.80.
