Charlotte Webby One Step Closer to Open Water Olympic Selection
Congratulations to Charlotte who was second NZ women home after swimming the hardest race of her life in Taupo last weekend in the 10km swim. She then added to her silver medal with another silver in the 5km swim the following day.
Charlotte will now head to Portugal where the top nine swimmers qualify to attend the Olympic Games.
Other Taranaki medalists were:
Bianca Bradley - Silver medal in the 16/17yrs 5km race.
Ollie McCullough - Bronze medal in the 13/15yrs 10km race and 4th in the 5km race.
Both Sue Southgate and Donna Bouzaid were on the food boat encouraging them along.
