Dylan Dunlop-Barrett takes home the Gold!
The first day of the NZ Open LC Championships held in Auckland saw Dylan Dunlop-Barrett absolutely smash his 400m freestyle Taranaki record in a time of 3:51.27 taking almost four seconds off his 2010 time.
Dylan has been training on the Gold Coast, Queensland for the past year so watch this space for more fantastic swimming during the week from him.
Charlotte Webby broke her own 100m butterfly Taranaki record in a time of 1:02.74 previously 1:02.96 and gained 5th place. Bianca Bradley was 2nd in the B Final in a time of 1:03.83.
Charlotte also placed 7th in the 400m freestyle in a time of 4:24.69.
Racing continues today until Friday.
