Grand Prix Team Set to Rule the Pool
Grand Prix team heads to Taupo on Saturday to compete against swimmers from Bay of Plenty, Hawkes Bay/Poverty Bay and Waikato.
A 22 strong team of : D'Ani Allen, Dylan Arlidge, Hannah Benton, Jay Cadman-Kennedy, Ryan Cooper, Nikaela Gilmer, Max Hardie Boys, Eliot Lundon-Moore, Jordan McCormack, Michael McKillop, Nathan Murray, Ben Nelson, Nam Northcott, Ann-Marie O'Donnell, Mitchell Owen, James Perry, Darryl Powell, Charlotte Webby, Julian Weir, Martin Weir, Brydie Whitehead and Brock Wilson will be competing for Taranaki at the Grand Prix Finale in Taupo on Saturday and Sunday.
Coaches Sue Southgate, Donna Bouzaid, Anita Kitto and Clive Wheeler will be joining the swimmers with several parents who have offered to officiate during the weekend.
Cash prizes are awarded to top three placegetters in each event, top female and male FINA points scorer and a trophy to the top region.
