Taranaki 12&U Summer SC Champs Records Fall

There was one individual and one relay record broken at the Taranaki 12/U Short Course champs held in Stratford over the weekend.

Joshua Gilbert (Stratford) broke his own record in the boys 11-12yrs 200m breaststroke in a time of 2:59.13, previously 3:02.67.  The Aquabladz girls team of Ruby Scott, Ella Powell, Kaitlyn Tippett and Natalie Walsh broke the 12/U 4x50m Medley Relay in a time of 2:22.71  smashing the previous time of 2:31.14 set in 2010.

The long distance session willl be held on Wednesday night at the Stratford pool.
