Two Elite Swimmers in Taranaki Now Carded
Congratulations to Charlotte Webby who has joined Dylan Dunlop-Barrett on the carded list of swimmers in NZ.
'Cards' are earned by swimmers identified by performances at NZLC champs. Levels are also reviewed after long course pinnacle events using world rankings and then FINA points.
It enables the athletes to have access to massage, strength and conditioning, medical, athlete life planning and physiotherapy and allocation of funding as determined by SNZ.
Charlotte is now ranked 40th in the world for her 200m butterfly LC which is absolutely fantastic. Well Done Charlotte!! It makes all those long training schedules worthwhile.
